I’ve been pretty bad about blogging in the last few months, something I hope to rectify over the next few months. A combination of a heavy workload, learning to drive (finally!), buying a house and a big freelance project has taken all of my time. I have a few things I want to write about and will hopefully put them into words in the next few weeks.
One thing that is coming up for me is the ConFoo web development conference in Montreal next week. This will be the first web development conference that I’ve attended and I’m really looking forward to it. I’ve got a pretty good idea of all of the sessions that I want to attend but I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to how to get the most out of the conference. Anna Filina (@afilina) suggests bringing lots of business cards and attending all of the parties, neither of which sounds too hard! I’m really looking forward to the chance to meet and interact with other members of the PHP community. I’m also going to try to write a short blog post each day discussing the conference and the talks that I’ve heard.
Anyway, if you’re going to ConFoo drop me a line on Twitter (@JCook21) and let’s meet up for a beer. See you there!
